A bronze door open to warm daylight, a threshold and a direction
Strategic Advisory

Some questions need a direction, not a deal.

Sometimes there is no partner to match yet, only a decision on the table: which way a career, a brand or an organisation should go. We lay out the options, test each one against what you can carry, and recommend a direction. Once you commit, we stay in the room for the calls that follow.

A standalone discipline

We work out the answer with you, then stay through the months it takes to build it.

We start by naming the decision you are making, which is often not the one in the brief. From there we build an answer and test it against what could go wrong. Part of that is settling who decides what and where the limits sit, the same lines a partnership needs on paper. We sit at the table for every decision, from the first to the last one before it ships. Often the honest answer is that no partnership belongs here at all.

The method

Discovery. Strategic Thesis. Architecture. Guidance. Legacy.

01
Discovery

We look for options you haven't thought of yet and show where each one would lead.

02
Strategic Thesis

We settle the one thing you're building toward, so every other choice has something to answer to.

03
Architecture

We turn the decision into a plan: the steps, the order they run in, and who owns each one.

04
Guidance

We stay in the room while you carry it out, and help you make the calls that come up once it is real.

05
Legacy

We make sure you can hold the course on your own, then come back later to see if it worked.

Who it is for

Leaders, founders and foundations, each sitting on a decision that will shape the next few years, with no obvious person to think it through with.

This is a direction someone has to choose and then hold when it gets tested.

Begin with the question

Bring the question you're stuck on, and we'll help you get to an answer.

A confidential thirty minutes with the founder. No deck and no pitch: you lay out the decision, and we tell you what we would do.
